How This Template Solves It

An analyst follows AI and data news. On a schedule the workflow reads feeds listed in Google Sheets, classifies each article as relevant or not, fetches the full text of relevant ones through Jina AI, summarizes it in Slack formatting and posts it to a channel.

How It Works

  1. 1Reads your list of RSS feed URLs from Google Sheets.
  2. 2Reads new articles from each feed.
  3. 3An AI classifier labels each article as relevant or not relevant to your topics.
  4. 4Fetches the full article as Markdown through Jina AI.
  5. 5An AI model summarizes it in Slack formatting and posts it to your channel.

What You Need

  • A Google Sheet of RSS feed URLs
  • An OpenAI API key
  • Access to the Jina AI reader
  • A Slack workspace

What Stays Under Your Control

  • You define the relevant topics in the classifier descriptions.

Watch Out For

  • Summaries can miss nuance. Include a link to the original article in every post.
